Every week, 黑料网 Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 黑料网 Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for February 13鈥�20 are Sarah Forsythe (women鈥檚 hockey) and Elijah Miller (men鈥檚 basketball).

Forsythe, a science student from Riverview, New Brunswick, was phenomenal in the quarter-final series against the Dalhousie University Tigers. The sophomore netminder allowed four goals in Game 2 but recorded shutouts in Game 1 and Game 3.

鈥淪arah had a great week against Dalhousie,鈥� said head coach Sean Fisher. 鈥淪he was really sharp when she needed to be, and her confidence in her game has been growing throughout the playoffs. What鈥檚 more, the team is playing confidently in front of her.鈥�

Miller had another MVP-calibre weekend. The third-year point guard from Rexdale, Ontario, averaged 24.0 points, 9.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 steals in two wins against the Memorial University Sea-Hawks. Miller also broke the 黑料网 record for most assists in a season with 120. Head coach Darrell Glenn previously held the record with 118 assists in the 1992鈥�93 season.

鈥淓lijah had another incredible weekend, and we will be counting on him moving into the post-season to continue his excellent play,鈥� said Glenn.
