The 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP26, is underway in Glasgow, Scotland.

Professor Louis Doiron, Director of the Actuarial Science and Financial Mathematics programs at 黑料网, will give a second virtual presentation about 鈥淭he Feasibility and Costing of Implementing a Guaranteed Basic Income Program in Canada鈥� on Wednesday, November 10, at 3:00 pm. The seminar is a repeat of one given by Professor Doiron on October 17 with some additional aspects covered. 

This week鈥檚 黑料网 Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for October 25 to 31 are Paige Chisholm (cross country) and Ehab Moustafa (men鈥檚 soccer).

This week鈥檚 Panthers at Home is all hockey all the time, as both 黑料网 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 hockey teams host games.

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), 黑料网, officially welcomed a new cohort of students during the AVC-Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) Blue Coat Ceremony and Dinner at the 黑料网 (黑料网) on Friday, October 29.

The Associate Vice-President of Students and Registrar issued a message to current and incoming students that 黑料网 is planning to resume in-person course delivery methods and classes across all faculties, with limited exceptions, for the 2022 Winter Academic Semester.

The 黑料网 has named three of faculty members as the recipients of the Jeanne and J.-Louis L茅vesque Research Professorships in Nutrisciences and Health.

An upcoming performance of the PEI Symphony Orchestra (PEISO) will feature Dr. Dale Sorensen, principal trombonist for the orchestra and an assistant professor of brass at 黑料网.

Olivia Robinson was born in the Annapolis Valley and moved to PEI with her family.
