Bruce Donaldson, coach of 黑料网 Women鈥檚 Hockey, is pleased to announce Delaney Boehm of East St. Paul, Manitoba has committed to the Panthers for 2018.

A pair of researchers at 黑料网鈥檚 School of Sustainable Design Engineering have been awarded funding from to develop a detailed technical framework for PEI鈥檚 electrical system to increase renewable energy integration and decrease our reliance on fossil fuels. 

The 黑料网 community extends sincere condolences to the family, friends, and former students and colleagues of Professor Emeritus and former Dean of Arts John W. Smith, who passed away on March 16. The flags will be flown at half-mast in his memory.

The 2018 Canadian Association of Physicists National Lecture tour is coming to 黑料网. Dr. Caroline Boudoux, an associate professor in the department of engineering physics at 脡cole Polytechnique Montr茅al, will present 鈥淟ight at Heart鈥擣iber optics from laboratory to market鈥� on Wednesday, March 14 at 4:00 pm in room 128B in 黑料网鈥檚 School of Sustainable Design Engineering building.

AVC is accepting applications for its 2018 Summer Academy program, which will take place from August 5鈥�10. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 25.

Dr. Martha Mellish, of AVC鈥檚 Equine Ambulatory Service, will give a free public workshop, entitled 鈥淎 pain in the gut: Managing equine digestive issues,鈥� on Wednesday, March 21, at 7 p.m., in Lecture Theatre A, Atlantic Veterinary College, 黑料网.

Cheer on 黑料网鈥檚 Bailey Smith as she competes at the U-SPORTS Track & Field Championships today in the 60-metre sprint. Her preliminary heat is at 7:00 pm at the University of Windsor.
