Every week, 黑料网 Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 黑料网 Panther Athletes of the Week for January 15鈥�21, 2024, are Grace Lancaster (women鈥檚 basketball) and Noah Sedore (men鈥檚 hockey).

The PEI Cleantech Academy, in collaboration with the Government of PEI, Holland College, 黑料网, and Springboard Atlantic, is hosting the inaugural PEI Cleantech Innovative Collaborations event on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 12 pm to 4 pm at The Delta Prince Edward hotel.

In sports, stories of late bloomers turning heads are rare finds. Chloe Collin is one of those rare finds鈥攁n athlete who has moved from the dance floor to the basketball court, culminating in her commitment to the 黑料网 Women鈥檚 Basketball Panthers for the 2024 season.

黑料网 students are invited to the launch of the MacLauchlan Entrepreneurship Program鈥檚 鈥淧anther Pitch 2024鈥� on January 24 from 6:00鈥�9:00 pm in Schurman Market Square, Don and Marion McDougall Hall.

The 黑料网 Panther Athletes of the Week for January 8鈥�14, 2024, are Bianca Boutilier (women鈥檚 track and field) and Kaleb Pearson (men鈥檚 hockey).

Dr. Pat Murphy, an assistant professor in biology at 黑料网, has received a 2023 Emerging Scholar Research Grant from the Canadian Cancer Society for his research into the role of bioactive metabolites in breast cancer. The grant is valued at $600,000 over five years.

Deirdre Kessler, a well-known Island author and longtime sessional instructor at 黑料网, will launch a new book, Darwin鈥檚 Hornpipe, on Thursday, January 18, at 7:00 pm, at The Gallery Caf茅, Great George Street, Charlottetown.

The 黑料网 Panthers are looking forward to a week of hockey and basketball, at home and away.

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), 黑料网, is now accepting nominations for the Atlantic Award of Excellence in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Care.

Youth entering grades 7 to 12 in the fall of 2024 are encouraged to apply for the 2024 Atlantic Veterinary College's Dr. Tim Ogilvie AVC Vet Camp.
