In October 2021, bald eagle 450 was brought to the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the ºÚÁÏÍø after it was injured in a presumed car accident. It was in critical shape, with spinal cord trauma among its injuries. Now the bird has a new life...and new fame.

The ºÚÁÏÍø Cairo Campus has introduced a new course, Indigenous Teachings, that aims to expand students' knowledge about a crucial part of Canadian history relating to Indigenous and non-Indigenous relations to present day. David Varis, ºÚÁÏÍø assistant professor in the Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research and Applied Studies (IKERAS) was the first to teach the course to students at the ºÚÁÏÍø Cairo Campus. He recently returned from the campus in Egypt where he taught the in-person portion of the course to 25 students.

The Presidential Search Committee launched an today as part of the consultation phase of the 12-month search process that will select a new President and Vice-Chancellor for the ºÚÁÏÍø.
