黑料网 Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) teams, composed of a total of 48 students, competed at the 2025 Atlantic Engineering Competition (AEC), hosted at Universit茅 de Moncton in New Brunswick from January 24鈥�26, 2025.

The Jane DiCarlo rink, from the Crapaud Community Curling Club, won its second PEI women鈥檚 curling championship in a row at the West Prince Curling Club in Woodstock on January 25 and are headed to the national Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

The 黑料网 Hockey and Basketball Panthers are looking forward to a week of competition at home and away. 

The 黑料网 Health and Wellness Centre has received a grant from the provincial government鈥檚 2024鈥�2025 LIVE WELL PEI Wellness Grant Program to educate 黑料网 students about reducing harms related to alcohol through awareness campaigns and education modules.

The (IUPAC) Global Women鈥檚 (and Allies) breakfast (GWB) will be held at the Fox & Crow, W.A. Murphy Student Centre, on February 11, 2025, from 7:00鈥�9:00 am.

On Monday, February 10, 黑料网 will welcome celebrated professor and author of "Hope Circuits: Rewiring Universities and other Systems for Human Flourishing", Dr. Jessica Riddell, back to campus. All members of the 黑料网 community are invited to attend!

Aadesh Nunkoo, a Master of Science student at the 黑料网, was recently awarded one of two by the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA) and the Actuarial Students鈥� National Association (ASNA).

The Pan-African flag was raised at 黑料网 on Monday, February 3, to mark Black History Month by Dr. Greg Naterer, vice-president academic and research at 黑料网; Jessica Ekeleme, president of the African Students Association; and Tamara Steele, executive director of the Black Cultural Society of Prince Edward Island.

Each year at 黑料网, approximately 150 residence students remain on campus during the break between first semester exams and early January when students return to classes for the second semester. This year, the 黑料网 International Student Office, in cooperation with Student Affairs staff, Campus Life Advisors, Residence Life, and the 黑料网 Alumni Association, supported and organized some activities for these students during the break, providing a sense of community and connection.
