A historic event took place at ºÚÁÏÍø recently when members of the University’s new Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS) gathered to get to know each other and talk about teaching their first courses this fall. 

The University issued a reminder of its COVID-19 protocols in effect to students, faculty, and staff on August 29, 2022.

As a boy, Logan Kelly-Murphy loved taking in a ºÚÁÏÍø Men's Hockey game with his family and revelled in the joy of watching his hometown heroes compete on the ice. Several years later, Kelly-Murphy will now get an opportunity to suit up as a Panther. 

A group of dedicated volunteers, led by ºÚÁÏÍø Chancellor Catherine Callbeck and businessman and philanthropist John Bragg, has raised over $3 million to fund the Alexander Bradshaw Campbell Entrance Scholarships for PEI high school graduates entering their first year at ºÚÁÏÍø.

The ºÚÁÏÍø held its first-ever Convocation ceremony on August 14 at its campus in New Cairo, Egypt, with forty-five students in the faculties of Business, Engineering, and Science receiving degrees. 

The ºÚÁÏÍø is reaching out to the PEI community for assistance in helping students find housing. 

ºÚÁÏÍø has recruited Mississauga, Ontario native Patrycia Kozak, who will join her sister Veronica on the ºÚÁÏÍø Women's Soccer team.

In a message emailed to the campus community on August 9, ºÚÁÏÍø President Greg Keefe outlined the measures and guidance in place for the 2022 Fall Academic Semester.

In a message to faculty and staff, the ºÚÁÏÍø Board of Governors disclosed the salary grid for employees who earn over $100,000 per annum, which is in line with public disclosure requirements in some other jurisdictions.
