Our Stories

A team of four Charlottetown Rural High School students designed, built, and tested a solar-powered, eco-friendly buoy to collect oceanic data, working with technicians and instructors of ºÚÁÏÍø's Applied Climate Change and Adaptation program.

Meet Peter, a third-year Anthropology and Sociology student who recently studied in Brussels, Belgium.

Fairouz enrolled at ºÚÁÏÍø after her Grade 11 year, completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree, is a current Master's student, and works full-time with the ºÚÁÏÍø Scholarships, Awards, and Financial Aid Office.

Meet Cecily, fourth-year Bachelor of Arts in Diversity and Social Justice Studies (Psychology minor) student. Cecily plans on continuing her education and hopes to work for an organization that upholds justice, human rights, and the fair treatment of people.

"Sometimes I do get weird and special requests from all sorts of people as we build all sorts of machines and prototypes—that's what makes my job so unique."
