ADS Level 6 – Entrepreneurship Program Coordinator (Grant Funded) - ºÚÁÏÍø Entrepreneurship Centre
$64,284 to $70,607 per annum, prorated to term, as per CUPE 1870 (Grant Funded)
ASAP to April 30, 2026 (Term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding, and departmental requirements)
The Catherine Callbeck Centre for Entrepreneurship at ºÚÁÏÍø is a student entrepreneurship hub that serves as a catalyst for the early stages of the startup ecosystem, bringing together students, faculty, and business leaders in the community to advance innovation and entrepreneurship at the University. Reporting to the Manager of Entrepreneurship, the successful candidate will assist in organizing events, workshops, and programming to engage students and the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in coordinating events, workshops, and programming to engage students and the entrepreneurial community
- Drafting and reviewing event materials, including event scenarios and speaking points for the emcee
- Obtaining quotes for catering, venue bookings, and other event logistics
- Managing administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and maintaining Centre resources
- Aid in developing and implementing a communications plan to promote Centre activities and opportunities
- Creating content for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials
- Supporting student engagement by acting as a point of contact for inquiries and involvement opportunities
- Assisting with budget tracking, expense reporting, and resource management
- Providing logistical support for mentorship programs, competitions, and other Centre initiatives
- Performing other related duties as required to support the Centre's operations and growth
- Some events and programming may take place outside of regular business hours, requiring occasional evening or weekend availability
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered
- Experience supporting entrepreneurs or involvement in entrepreneurial activities (e.g., student startup programs, pitch competitions, or incubators) is an asset
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to managing tasks and timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging content
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Familiarity with event coordination, social media management, or administrative tasks is an asset
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, faculty, and community partners
- Experience in a university or academic environment is considered an asset
