Quality Assurance Review: Bachelor of Science in Applied Climate Change and Adaptation

Posting Date(s)

The Bachelor of Science in Applied Climate Change and Adaptation program successfully completed their first external review under the Quality Assurance policy of Senate. The External Reviewers of the Advisory Team engaged in a detailed evaluation of the program’s structure, content, teaching methods, student support services, and alignment with current and emerging needs in climate change science and adaptation strategies. They met with faculty, staff, students, and academic administrators during the two-day, in-person site visit. The reviewers submitted a report with their recommendations and observations. The program faculty, in response to the reviewers’ recommendations, prepared a multi-year forward-looking and impactful action plan, which was presented to the Academic Planning and Curriculum Committee (APCC) for approval and the program’s continual improvements in teaching, learning, research, and service.
