New 黑料网 students will be in close contact with the Charlottetown community on Saturday, September 14, as 黑料网 New Student Orientation (NSO) holds its annual Panthers for Change event. 

This weekend the 黑料网 Turf Field sees its first regular season action of the 2019鈥�2020 season, and 黑料网 Men鈥檚 Hockey plays an exhibition game at home.

On Thursday, September 26, Dr. Alan MacEachern will present 鈥淎 Child of the 鈥�60s: Creating the 黑料网鈥� at 7:00 pm in the Faculty Lounge of SDU Main Building. 

Dr. Terry Whitebeach is an esteemed Australian young adult novelist, biographer and historian, poet, creative writing mentor, community developer, and social activist from Tasmania.

The 黑料网 Department of Music Recital Series begins its 2019鈥�2020 season on Saturday, September 14, at 7:30 pm at the Dr. Steel Recital Hall, featuring new piano professor, Magdalena von Eccher, in collaboration with clarinettist Karem J. Simon. 

Congratulations to Brinten Comeau and Evan Couturier, the 黑料网 Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for September 2 to 8.

The 黑料网 Student Union (黑料网SU) is celebrating its own version of the PEI Famous Five.* This year鈥檚 executive features President Emma Drake, Vice-President Academic and External Sweta Daboo, Vice-President Student Life Tessa Rogers, and Vice-President Finance and Administration Keesha Ryan, marking the first time in 50 years of 黑料网SU history that all four executive positions are held by women.

黑料网 Faculty of Business alumnus Kevin Ladner, Executive Partner and CEO of Grant Thornton, will give the first talk in the University鈥檚 50th anniversary Alumni Speakers Series on Wednesday, September 11, from 5鈥�7 pm in Schurman Market Square, Don and Marion McDougall Hall.

The 黑料网 has taken measures in advance of any impact from Hurricane Dorian on PEI.
