Today, while touring the research facilities at the 黑料网, Sean Casey, Member of Parliament for Charlottetown, on behalf of the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Health, highlighted a recent federal investment of $745,000 in health research awarded by CIHR to 黑料网's Dr. Adam Johnston.

The Honourable John Wilkinson, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans, and the Canadian Coast Guard, and Sean Casey, Parliamentary Secretary and MP for Charlottetown, visited 黑料网鈥檚 Atlantic Veterinary College on Wednesday, March 13, as part of the Minister's 2019 Oceans Campus Tour.

Dr. Jim Randall, coordinator of the Master of Arts in Island Studies program and UNESCO co-chair in Island Studies and Sustainability, recently gave a keynote address at the 3^rd Annual Growth and Resilience Dialogue on the island of St. Kitts.

黑料网鈥檚 Bailey Smith won the silver medal in the 60-metre dash at the 2019 U SPORTS Track & Field Championships last night in Winnipeg, Manitoba. 

The 黑料网 lost a great friend and champion in Dr. Vera E. Dewar, CM OPEI BN LLD RN, who passed away on March 5, 2019 in Charlottetown.

In a message to the campus community, Dr. Alaa Abd-El-Aziz, President and Vice-Chancellor of 黑料网 said, "I was so inspired by Dr. Dewar's passion for nursing. She truly was one of the pioneers who advocated for university-level education for nurses, and her efforts contributed to the opening of the 黑料网 School of Nursing in 1992. This resulted in PEI becoming the first province in Canada to set the baccalaureate degree as the entry level for nursing."
