The 黑料网 (黑料网) Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers hosted seven of the best amateur hockey teams in the country during the U SPORTS 2023 Cavendish Farms University Cup Men鈥檚 Hockey Championship from March 15鈥�19, 2023, at the Eastlink Centre, Charlottetown. The event was deemed a huge success by organizers.

The 黑料网 Board of Governors and members of CUPE 1870 have approved the three-year tentative agreement that was reached with the assistance of a third-party conciliator on March 14, 2023. CUPE 1870 represents approximately 345 support and administrative employees at 黑料网.

Clarinetist Karem J. Simon will be featured in two upcoming recitals, one on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Hillcrest United Church in Montague and the other on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at St. Paul鈥檚 Anglican Church in Charlottetown. Both performances take place at 7:30 pm.

The 黑料网 School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences (SMCS) held a 鈥淧i Day鈥� celebration on March 14, 2023. There was a good turnout of students and faculty for the celebration, which included pie eating, dressing up in math-related attire, math trivia, and the featured event鈥攖he annual SMCS Integration Tournament.

The Program hosted its Bridge to PEI Networking & Conference events on March 10 and 11. Abby Goodwin, Study & Stay PEI program coordinator and Cecia Huang, program assistant, thank the students, speakers, and those involved with putting together this successful event.

In a message to 黑料网 students sent by email on March 20, 黑料网 Student Affairs outlined supports, activities, and events for students during the faculty strike.  

In today's Community Bulletin, the University shares information to help plan for what to expect if the 黑料网 Faculty Association takes its members on strike.

黑料网 announced today that the University and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE 1870), representing 黑料网 support staff, have reached a tentative agreement.

Studying abroad can be one of the most rewarding opportunities during a university education. This school year, 黑料网 will have a record number of students studying abroad and hopes to see this upward trend continue. The Office of Study Abroad and International Partnerships is supporting approximately 150 students to go abroad between September 2022 and June 2023 to 18 countries around the world, such as Malta, Barbados, Belgium, Ireland, France, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Japan, Finland, and Australia.

Marine ecologist Dr. Iren茅 Novaczek will give a presentation about the ecosystem restoration project at Basin Head on March 21 at 7 pm in the Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building, 黑料网.
